At DREAM PRINT, we treat every aquarium decoration not just as an art piece, but as an integral part of a living aquatic ecosystem. Discover our rigorous material selection, multi-stage post-curing, and tank acclimation guidelines.
Scientifically chosen polymers for long-term water quality stability and bio-compatibility
PETG shares the exact polymer foundation used in food and beverage containers. It is hydrophobic, chemically inert, and highly resistant to degradation under aquarium lighting and continuous water flow.
Sourced from renewable cornstarch, PLA is a non-toxic bio-polymer. It delivers crisp edge definition and intricate architectural roof ridge details without releasing harmful solvents into the water.
High-definition liquid resin is solid-state cross-linked layer by layer under a 405nm UV laser. Following printing, models undergo multi-stage ultrasonic isopropyl alcohol wash and extended UV post-curing to ensure zero uncured monomer residue.
Our 4-step fabrication procedure before packaging and dispatch
FDM models are constructed purely via thermal layer fusion at 240°C+. We use zero toxic glues, solvent cements, or chemical binders.
Resin components undergo dual-stage ultrasonic agitation in high-purity isopropyl alcohol to flush out all residual surface resins.
Parts are cured in a multi-directional 405nm UV chamber to achieve 100% molecular cross-linking and rock-solid inert surface stability.
Every opening, portal, and swimway is manually inspected and deburred to guarantee smooth edges that will never scratch fish fins or barbels.
Simple, straightforward steps for introducing your 3D printed decoration into your tank
1. Initial Rinse: Upon unboxing, rinse the decoration under lukewarm clean tap water or RO water to remove any packaging dust. Do not use boiling water or household soap/detergents.
2. Optional 24h Soak: For delicate crystal shrimp or sensitive nano biotope aquariums, we recommend soaking the piece in a bucket of dechlorinated water for 24 hours prior to final tank placement.
3. Planting & Aquascaping: You can attach live aquatic moss (Java moss, Christmas moss), Anubias, or Bucephalandra directly to the textured stone ridges using cyanoacrylate aquarium plant gel or thread.
4. Routine Maintenance: During water changes, simply brush away algae gently with a soft toothbrush. Never use bleach or abrasive chemical cleansers.
